Most notably, he has worked in the physical therapy realm specializing working with clients in a post rehabilitative setting. Nick has prided himself on taking as much continuing education over the last few years as possible. He has dedicated himself to taking at least 1 new course every month. He feels that this allows him to always stay current and to be the best possible filter of information to those he works with.
He has coordinated and run internship programs for Exercise Science students from Sacred Heart University, Quinnipiac University and Ithaca College. He most recently was Fitness and Wellness Director for an Integrated Physical Therapy and Wellness Company in Connecticut, overseeing 20 Personal Trainers and Wellness team members across 5 different locations.
Nick aims to be different in his approach to training in that he views himself as a healthcare practitioner first. He believes exercise and lifestyle interventions can be some of the most powerful medicine, especially proactively for our health. He has done certification work in many other aspects of health and wellness such as sleep, nutrition, behavioral psychology, heart rate variability, brain health, stress management and more. He also teaches small group classes, including Kinstretch, a movement practice aiming to improve joint health and range of motion.
